The Tree Appeal – School Planting Events

In November 2009 Professor David Bellamy visited schools across the UK and Ireland to help plant some of the 50,000 trees sponsored by printing.com as part of our trees for schools campaign. The tour celebrated the achievement of reaching our 50,000 tree target. “By planting trees in schools, printing.com are not only creating wildlife habitat, promoting biodiversity and making a greener world, they are also providing outdoor learning resources for local school children; helping future generations to understand the natural world”, he commented.

Staff from local printing.com stores were on hand to help the children plant the trees while Professor Bellamy answered questions and passed on a little of his vast knowledge of trees and the natural world.
